SIOUX CENTER, IOWA While the weather is still cold and there is plenty of Winter left, Sioux Speedway officials are thinking toward Summer. Plans are in place for three big auto racing events on the Sioux County half-mile. The first event will take place during Sioux Center Summer Celebration as the 5th Annual B-Modified and Hobby Stock Nationals are on the calendar for Thursday, June 6. Also on hand for that event will be the Sportsman and Stock Car divisions. The second event is scheduled for Thursday, July 27 and will feature the return of the A-Modified division. Along with A-Modifieds will be Stock Cars, B-Modifieds, and Hobby Stocks. The 2013 finale will showcase the 4th Annual Sprint Car Showdown during the Sioux County Youth Fair on Wednesday, July 17. This event will be a part of the JSTS Sprint Speedweek and will also highlight Late Model Street Stocks, B-Modifieds, and Hobby Stocks.
