Tony Rustad,

Tony Rustad and crew from Pipestone MN are planning on running a limited schedule with the Heartland Racing Association Non-Wing Sprint Cars. He has sold his Xtreme Chassis Hobby Stock which he did well with during the 2007 season, capturing 5 wins, which included the Hobby Stock Special Title at Slayton MN, and a 3rd place finish at the Worthington Nationals after transferring out of the "B".

He piloted a non-wing sprint car for the first time at Huset's
Speedway on Labor Day, and improved greatly from the first lap to the last. He said,"The hardest part to get used to is how fast the steering turns, and how much the loud pedal either makes, or doesn't make the car turn. You can set it SLIDEWAYS into the turn and it feels awesome, then you feather the gas and it wanted to hook into the wall, craziest feeling in the world, everything happens so fast."
